The ocean-going sailing ship Sedna IV and her science team are following the ancient route of early whalers on an historic mission around the remote Cape Farewell whaling grounds in the treacherous North Atlantic Ocean. This vast watery wilderness conceals many mysteries and maybe some new whales. Could this remote area be the key to the future of right whales?

But conservationists argue that whale stocks have not yet recovered from a bloody past. What is the future for the last of the planet's giants?
